Despite many challenges in procurement and logistics, I can proudly say that we have been able to offer our customers essentials including fresh fruits and vegetables each and every day since the lockdown. We increased our sourcing from farmers for fruits and vegetables and made sure that we have 50-60 Fresh products every day in the store for our customers. The wellbeing of our customers and our colleagues has been of utmost importance to us.We’ve been working extensively on social distancing and hygiene. This includes establishing norms and guidelines across all our operational spaces and managing the number of customers & colleagues in store. Finally, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you, our customers, for your continued support & loyalty. Thank you for placing your trust in us. Our tomorrow, our today, is You. The health and safety of our customers and colleagues has been our priority from day one. We have taken every measure possible at the stores to make sure that our customers have an uncompromised shopping experience.
Below is an overview of our Health & Safety Initiatives -
We have implemented social distancing on the shop floor, in the queues outside the store, in back offices and even our distribution centres.
As a mandate across stores & distribution centres, we take the temperature of our customers at the entrance of the store & our employees prior to the start of each shift to ensure the safest possible store and warehouse environments.
To maintain social distancing & limit the number of customers in store at any given point of time, we follow a token system. We have introduced online queue management at few of our stores too which essentially enables customers to pre-book a slot online for shopping in store.

We follow a rigorous process of regular cleaning & sanitisation of all customer & employee touch points at stores & distribution centres.
AVAILABILITY OF CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS
We have majority of the contactless payment options available at stores. We have installed signages to create awareness & encourage the use of the same during checkout.
